How to Survive Being 25

How does being 25 feels you ask? well I’ll tell you. Picture being hit by a truck and when you finally healed…miraculously, that same truck finds you to attempt to finished the job. LOL totally joking,  its actually  not that bad. Legit though if you’re a single hard working girl, like most are, 25 can sometime feels like that. After 21 the next major milestone in one’s life is 25. But unlike 21 when you find yourself juggling life from so many different aspects. I found 25 to be a time where you learn to scale your life in a more clear and concise direction. You learn to prioritize what’s important and what’s is not. You also learn to make more time for yourself. I can’t tell you how happy I get when I come home from work and sit in my underwear eating chocolate and cheesecake (moments like those make the world go around for me). This time in our lives is the perfect time to settle down for most people when it comes to relationship, but for others it’s also a time to realize that you will not settle for anything less than what you deserve.

From the day you turn 25 the count down to being closer to 30 begins and then you become further away from your early 20’s. This may sound sad,  but it can also be pretty fun. I must say life does get better as you age, I experienced it and felt the change. The best advice I can give anyone is to be content with your current life situation cause nothing will make you happier going forward like enjoying the moment you exist in daily.

What are some of your goals and ideas you have for yourself during your 20’s? Let me know in the comment section and start a fun conversation. As always thank you for stopping by.

Below is a list of five things I am doing to Survive Being 25;

  1. Don’t compare yourself to your friends.
  2. It’s okay to not have it all together.
  3. Have a general Cover Letter saved in your email. (You never know when an opportunity comes knocking)
  4. Always ask people for a business card.
  5. Try networking with people outside your social group.
